Heydie Marin Viera
Position Computer Instructor/ Personal Skills Instructor
Heydie Marin Viera has recently joined the Mi Esperanza staff as the new computer teacher. She is a Public Accountant and currently in her last year of college, a Business Administration student at the University of CEUTEC-UNITEC. She comes from a hard working family living in the Community of “Los Pinos”. She lives with her parents, her 2 brothers, grandmother, sister and nephews. She believes her work at Mi Esperanza has been a great blessing and is grateful for the opportunity granted. She feels fortunate she can serve as a bridge for education, to give these special women an opportunity to learn and move forward with a skill that will be helpful in their future.
One of the things that motivated her to be a part of the organization is that her mother Reina is also a member of the Mi Esperanza family, as part of the sewing co-op or “maquila”. She believes her mother has been a pillar of great inspiration. Thru her parents’ efforts, constant work and determination, she has been able to receive a better education and high moral values, motivating her to be better every day.
