On January 19th Lori and Janet were invited, along with Mark Connell of The Honduras Project and Tim Hines of IRC, to the Presidential house to meet with acting president of Honduras Roberto Micheletti.

Mi Esperanza continues to seek ways to serve the women of Honduras. We feel strongly satellite classes are one of those ways in which we can serve a larger number of women. The satellite program eliminates such obstacles as child care and bus fare and allows more women to learn a skill and give means to break the cycle of poverty.
