Computer Class~Spring Graduation

Last week we honored 8 students as they completed their computer training course and their personal skills course to receive their Mi Esperanza Diploma. Each women completed 4 months of training in computer basics. The women now have entry level skill for the entire Microsoft office suite and basic internet. Each women also received a week long intensive course learning about job interviewing, hygiene, resume writing and more to help them bridge from school to the work force. The women are all excited to continue to practice and learn more and begin searching for a job. With these 2 courses many doors open for these women that previously would not have remained closed. At Mi Esperanza the courses are completely free to the women, and they are thankful to have received this education.
