25 Kilometers from the capital city of Tegucigalpa is a sleepy Honduran community named Santa Ana and is now home to the new Mi Esperanza sewing school.  With the funds given to Mi Esperanza through a grant from DELTA KAPPA GAMMA INTERNATIONAL the vision of expanding Mi Esperanza beyond Tegucigalpa was realized.  This new school will bring opportunity to a new group of women who could have never reached us in the city because of distance.
When we think of the 100’s of new women we will reach our hearts are filled with great joy!  We know and have seen how education has broken the cycle of poverty with so many women, NOW more women, children, families and communities will be changed!
The classroom is ready and class will begin at the start of January with 30 students!  If you would like to be part of this class and help to fund the teachers salary please make a donation TODAY on our donation page earmarked for this class.
