Mi Esperanza visited Louisiana and Florida in August/September to share the vision of Mi Esperanza and our goal to lift women out of poverty. We had a GREAT road trip and met lots of new folks who had never heard of Mi Esperanza.
First Stop….Monroe Louisiana. “It’s a Mom Thing” A day dedicated to the encouragement of women, what a great fit for Mi Esperanza! Women who came from all over Louisiana to encourage one another learned how they could change the lives of women in a different country. Women young and old enthusiastically embraced our message and provided funds that would help to run our school through the purchasing of Mi Esperanza products! Purchasing with a purpose is a powerful thing!
Second Stop…Orlando Florida. “Mi Esperanza where shopping makes you a hero”.....and the 1400+ young people at Sonquest became super heros! Lori and her daughter Ryan totally enjoyed their time at Sonquest as they shared with young people how change start with each of them! Setting up a mini store at Sonquest allowed Lori and Ryan to show that even spending money can be a life changing thing! “Sonquesters” loved knowing that their purchase of a Mi Esperanza product would help change the cycle of poverty and were happy to help! Mi Esperanza looks forward to returning to Sonquest next year!
