Mi Esperanza partners with designer Elizabeth Roney

In the summer of 2009 Elizabeth Roney spent 4 weeks in Honduras as a Mi Esperanza intern. She came to Honduras with the desire to work in a program that shared her design philosophy and share her gift for design with Mi Esperanza. Sharing her talents was of great benefit to the Mi Esperanza staff as she helped design products for the Mi Esperanza brand. While in Honduras she developed relationships with the women of Mi Esperanza and wanted to return with her own designs and employee the women to create her dresses. The two weeks with Elizabeth was spend with energy and excitement. We are excited about our chance to work with Liz Alig Design and hope our relationship will continue into the future.
