In the words of the founder of Breaking Chains, Amber Foster, “Breaking Chains seeks to share the love of Christ by providing basic needs and hope in a very dark world.”

Today we offered a day of “pampering” to women who spend their days fighting for survival on the streets.  The women were very grateful for this special day because everyone likes to feel beautiful and special. And after new hair styles and mani/pedis the women felt very special!  The Mi Esperanza students worked hard all day making sure every women received all the services she wanted.  We shared a lunch of pizza with the guests which was also received with much gratitude.
Service day is such a special part of what we do.  We feel encouraging the students to share the gift of their training is continuing the blessing of Mi Esperanza. It helps our students to give back from what they have been given.  We have had many students who have continued to be part of service days long after they graduate from our program. We love that!!!
Today was another very special day as we served the community around us.
