Mother’s Day Celebration

A wonderful tradition in Honduras is for women to celebrate with each other Mother’s Day. The sewing class in Santa Ana had a party to celebrate motherhood. It was a wonderful celebration! Music, song, dance and poems were share as the women expressed their hearts for their mother’s and the joy of being mothers. It was a blessing for Janet and Lori to be invited into their celebration. One of the women wore a complete outfit she had sewn for herself from what she is learning in class!
