God speaks clearly in Micah 6:8. "He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?" It is an honor and a privilege to serve our loving Father through the work of Mi Esperanza.

Janet is Co-Founder and CEO. She travels doing presentations and speaks to groups about the Mi Esperanza program. She loves sharing what Mi Esperanza is about and engaging other women in the vision of Mi Esperanza. She oversees the business end of raising the funds stateside to support our programs in Honduras. We are blessed to have supporters who share our vision for our Mi Esperanza family.

Janet and her husband, Rickie McPherson, live in Covington, Louisiana. She has three sons, Micheal (Tamara), Richard (Dana), and Jonathan (Emily), and one daughter, Stephanie Milner (Jason). She is also blessed with six grandsons, Christian, Zachary, Reid, Harrison, Miles, and Benjamin, and three granddaughters, Emma, Laura, and Elise.
