I’ve recently been thinking about what’s important to me in my life. When we really get down to the important moments in our lives, they usually have a common theme. For me, those moments are filled with friends and family as we Gather together to enjoy each other’s company. We share important moments as well as insignificant moments. We do life, we talk about life, we celebrate birthdays, new babies and anniversaries. Any occasion offers a reason to Gather together and make new memories, and new reasons to be grateful for life.
We, at Mi Esperanza, value this idea of gathering and coming together for a common purpose and the joy and gratitude we feel in the work we do together. Our students and employees gather together daily with a focused goal to elevate themselves out of the cycle of poverty and change their world.
The Gather Box is available in the shop
This theme, this idea of gathering is so important to us, that we want to apply this to our Spring Hope Supply Subscription Box. The “Gather” Box will be filled with items that encourage the gathering of family and friends. The Spring Box will be the first with a theme, but introduces a new direction for all future boxes.
Many of our Mi Esperanza production partners will be collaborating to make each box cohesive and unique - all under the Mi Esperanza/Hope Supply label. Moving forward, in each box we will also be featuring one “Made in Honduras” product (made by artisans all over the country of Honduras - but not employed by Mi Esperanza).
